Last year we were in Poland for MSPO 2024 so I stopped by a Polish gun store and range to see what they have. Here are two original Polish military Milled-receiver AKs that were (sort of) converted to semi-auto only. The rules for what is considered “permanently converted” to semi are quite a bit different (much more reasonable in my opinion) in Europe vs. the US. Both guns still had the third hole for the auto-sear pin as well as full-auto selector markings, etc..
They had some full-autos at the range too but unfortunately I couldn’t understand the explanation as to why these two AKs had to be converted partially back to semi only (try to explain our 922r and SBR / brace rules to foreigners and they also go away super confused).
