Earlier this year I visited AATS-Group, which is one of the best gun stores in Switzerland. They have a beautifully-designed retail space with a wide range of new and used firearms. Also, you can’t beat Swiss hospitality even at gunshops—they made me a cappuccino that was better than anything I’ve ever had at Starbucks and they probably would have spelled my name correctly if it was served in a paper cup.
They had a wide range of really interesting firearms, both new and used. I saw this SIG 553 on the wall and thought the stock was odd. Based on some interneting, it turns out this is a 6-position “Riot” stock. I’m assuming the check weld is that low because the user may be wearing a gas mask?
More cool stuff coming, stay tuned! You can’t believe how great Switzerland is.
