In compliance with California law AB1263 (effective January 1, 2026), additional verification steps are required for ALL orders shipped to California residents. Prior to shipment the following steps must be completed

1) The purchaser MUST certify that they have reviewed the text of Paragraph 2 of AB 1263. The complete text of the bill is available here (click for link).

2) Purchaser MUST provide verification with a valid California driver’s license that they that they are at least 21 years of age. (The law states 18 years, however there are no carriers that can do restricted address verification for anyone under 21 making compliance impossible for those between ages 18 – 21). 

3) Shipment of the ordered items ONLY to the address listed on the purchaser’s valid California driver’s license. 

• Use of a shipping carrier that conducts restricted address verification adds an additional $14.95 cost per order. Restricted address verification means that the order can ONLY be delivered to the person with the (AB 1263 states that the order can only be delivered to the verified “purchaser“ rather than any adult).
