Tinck is an excellent Slovenian company that came out with the Perun carbine several years ago. The Perun is a highly modular semi-automatic carbine that has a hybrid gas system which combines short-stroke piston reliability with the smooth feel of direct impingement for exceptionally clean and soft shooting. This configuration excels with shorter barrels (such as 8–11.5 inches), making it ideal for suppressed subsonic loads or PDW-style builds. The Perun also has a lot of parts compatibility with AR15s. It’s a good-looking rifle overall.
