This suppressed version in .300 Blackout with a 12-inch barrel is a modernized Swiss-made rifle that blends the classic long-stroke gas piston reliability of the SG550/553 series with enhanced modularity, including a free-floating M-LOK handguard and ambidextrous controls.
Its 12-inch cold hammer-forged barrel features an 8-inch twist rate and 5/8×24 threading, making it ideally suited for suppressor attachment—such as SIG’s SAG SD40—while delivering excellent performance with both subsonic and supersonic .300 Blackout loads in a compact package weighing around 8lbs unsuppressed. The rifle includes an adjustable gas valve (optimized in a 2-position setup for this caliber) to ensure reliable cycling when suppressed, reduced noise and recoil for quieter operation, and compatibility with AR-style components like Magpul stocks for user customization.
