During a visit to France after going to the arms expo IWA in Nuremburg, I stopped by the MM Park Military Museum near Strasbourg, France. The vehicles and weapons on display are quite a bit different than anything I’d seen in the US. They have large sections of historical French firearms that I had never seen before. The museum is dedicated to preserving the history around the Second World War. It has a lot of really interesting tanks and other vehicles, including an entire patrol boat that is floating in its own dedicated room that can be boarded. The museum is also family-friendly, there is a lot of different things to do for all people of all ages.
In the photo on the left you can see a small selection of the interesting French firearms they had on display. In the top left is a French MAS 38 in 7.65mm Long. Third from the bottom, with the word “Support” on the side, is a French MAC 1934T aircraft machinegun in 7.5×54.
There is also a very large collection of armored vehicles from all over the world, most of them from World War 2.
